The situation

Seating Expert sells into a category where a single order can be a restaurant fitting out a room rather than one person buying one chair. Eighty-five conversions in a month against nearly $295,000 of conversion value puts the average order near $3,500 — which changes what the account is for. At that order size, a handful of wasted clicks costs little and a handful of missed ones costs a great deal, so the account is built to stay present on the queries that convert rather than to drive the cost per click down.

What we did

  • Split the account by intent rather than by product — brand, categories, competitor and catch-all each run and judged separately
  • Ran Performance Max on feed-only campaigns for the best-selling products and for the chair range, so the feed carried the targeting
  • Kept a Search brand campaign and a separate competitor campaign that deliberately excludes listings
  • Broke out Restaurant Furniture and the Canada market as their own lines, so a strong segment could not hide inside an account average

What came back

Across 1 – 30 June 2026 the account recorded $6,590.65 in cost against $294,774.53 in conversion value — 44.73 conversion value per cost, on 84.62 conversions. Every one of those four figures was up on the month before, and the return was up 10.68 on a prior period that itself ran at 34.05. It is the strongest multiple in the documented set by a distance, and it is a product of what the catalogue sells: on a $3,500 average order, a return at this level is arithmetic, not alchemy. On a £40 product it would not happen, and nothing here suggests it would.

Book a call

Fifteen minutes, and you will know whether this is worth pursuing.

Bring the account, the spend and what you are trying to do with it. We go through the three things costing you the most, and tell you which of them we would fix first.

  • We open your live account and go through the numbers together
  • You leave with the first two or three changes written down, whether or not you hire us
  • If you are not a fit we will say so on the call rather than take the work

Prefer to write? Both open with the message already drafted.
